1934. The Estado Novo (New State) presents itself with a colonial exhibition where the virile Portuguese Empire displays Rosinha, a Guineese woman, as a symbol of power. The documentary looks carefully at this event to understand how the racist and colonialist mechanisms at the Portuguese society were built —and how they still resonate nowadays.
