Crowrã (The Buriti Flower) (2023)

Sobre o filme

In 1940, two children of the Krahô indigenous people met in the darkness of the forest on an ox dangerously close to their village. It was the announcement of a violent massacre, perpetuated by the farmers in the region. In 1969, during the military dictatorship, the Brazilian State urged many of the survivors to join a military unit. Today, in the face of old and new threats, the Krahô continue to walk over their sacred land, daily reinventing the infinite forms of resistance.

Winner of the ensemble prize in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival.
