The Rescue (2023)
Sobre o filme
Set in Buenos Aires, in the 1980s, when Argentina had just emerged from the military dictatorship and began to shape a new democracy. In this context, Julio returns to the country, after being exiled, to resume his life. Shortly after, however, his older brother is kidnapped, and Julio begins receiving phone calls from an anonymous group, with political and military ties.
Presented at the Horizons Extra section at the Venice International Film Festival.
