On October 27th –known as the International Audiovisual Heritage Day– the 47th Mostra, alongside the Brazilian Cinematheque, will present the “Lévi-Strauss Program”, a selection of films directed by the anthropologists Claude and Dina Lévi-Strauss during the 1930s, period when they both lived in Brazil. The following films are part of the program: “Trabalhos do Gado no Curral de uma Fazenda do Sul do Mato Grosso” (1935), “A Vida de uma Aldeia Bororo” (1935), “Rio Vermelho/Cerimônias Funerais entre os Índios Bororo II” (1935), “Aldeia de Nalike” (Dec. 1935/Jan. 1936) and “Festa do Divino Espírito Santo” (1936).
