Isabell’s life takes a turn when it becomes apparent that her aging parents can no longer live independently. While searching for care staff and navigating her complicated marriage with Philippe, she shuttles between Berlin and her parents’ weekend house — a striking modernist home. There, Isabell repeatedly encounters the enigmatic Anja, a single mother struggling to make ends meet. As Anja and her young daughter, Greta, weave themselves into Isabell’s life, an unexpected bond begins to form. Yet Isabell feels increasingly uncertain about the life she thought she knew. As the lines blur, Isabell’s sense of control falters, and she starts to feel the ground shifting beneath her.
