Set in the East Khasi Hills in 2047, the film follows Livingstone and five remaining villagers as they navigate life in a near-abandoned village — left behind by the tide of urban migration. As the outside world lures away the younger generation, those who stay behind find strength in one another. Livingstone’s journey aboard a vintage bus becomes a heartfelt tribute to his late wife, Belinda, and a reminder of the ties that still bind. Through moments of grief, warmth, and quiet perseverance, the film captures the essence of human connection in the face of change — offering a moving portrait of a community holding on to hope while the world moves on.
