In one of the largest avenues in Caracas, six desperate characters in search of love, decide on a change in lifestyle. Carlos, a taxi driver has just quarreled with waitress Carmen and can not imagine what brought the two of them so close twenty years before. Claudia is a competent doctor who merely exists, imprisoned by a marriage gone sour that she has thought of breaking off, now, for twenty years. Hector, with his girlfriend Yamila, revs up the engine of his motorcycle as far as it will go and promises her he will be somebody in life. Tony, a youth in permanent conflict with his father and with himself, is on his way home to meet his girlfriend Clemencia, a transvestite in anguish. One of them comes face to face with an army tank that appears repeatedly in the most unexpected places, searching for the path that will lead to the presidential palace.
