Vienna, 2002. Sabine, Verica, and Claudia, great friends, are making a video on the political and cultural situation of Austria today. When they meet Marco, Philip, Bobas, and Dennis – the boys are hip-hoppers from the Viennese Voodoos – they decide to make the film about themselves. All seven youngsters speak different languages, are of different complexions, and are all citizens from one and the same country. Move! shows nine months in the life of the youngsters and talks of challenges, doubts, choices for artists in a country that more and more reduces subsidies for culture, in addition to the political changes introduced by the government, of Neo-Nazi inspiration.
