Sobre o filme

In the sixties, in England, musicians such as Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, Jeff Beck, Steve Winwood, John Mayall, and Peter Green re-shaped the blues in a personal way, rendering it legitimate, and bringing international renown to a kind of music long discriminated in its own country of origin. Director Mike Figgis was direct witness to this period, for he played in a blues group. The film presents a series of interviews with these musicians who took the blues as reference and a recording session at the celebrated Abbey Road studios where Tom Jones, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, and Van Morrison improvise as from classics from the blues.
