Tiresia (2003)
Sobre o filme
In Greek mythology, Tiresia is at the same time woman and man. In this film, Tiresia is a Brazilian transexual who lives anonymously with her brother on the outskirts of Paris. Terranova is an admirer of aesthetics, a dreamer full of poetic ideas. He compares Tiresia to a perfect rose and decides to kidnap her. Without her regular dose of hormones, Tiresia gradually changes: a beard grows, her voice changes. Displeased, Terranova blinds Tiresia and abandons her in the country. In a deplorable state, she is taken in by Anna who helps in her recovery. As she improves, Tiresia begins to manifest the gift of premonition. The part of Tiresia is played by two Brazilian actors, Clara Choveaux and Thiago Teles.
