Sobre o filme
In Finland, in the 1920s, Maria Åkerblom is a preacher who claims to receive messages from God in her dreams. She lives with her followers in a farm and she adopts the orphan Salome. The girl was raised inside the cult —she only gets to know a new reality when Maria takes her on a trip to the city. There, Salome meets Malin, a girl who shows her a life with much less restrictions and that inspire her to question Maria’s severe teachings.
