Acácio de Almeida born in Portugal in 1938. He studied in Paris at Centre Universitaire de Cinéma Expérimental. Immediately started is career of cinematographer, being responsible for more than 100 films, working with directors like João César Monteiro, Jorge Silva Melo, António da Cunha Telles, Paulo Rocha, Rita Azevedo Gomes, Teresa Villaverde, Pedro Costa, João Botelho and Manoel de Oliveira. Marie Carré is a French born actress who studied with Patrice Chéreau and has been cast in several shorts,TV series and feature films. Together with Acácio de Almeida, she directs their first feature film.
