She is a director, screenwriter, performer and actress. She acted in feature films such as Body Electric (2017) and Memory House (2020, 44th Mostra). Alongside Julia Zakia, she co-directed the short film Frogs (2020), presented at Berlin Film Festival, and awarded at Brasília Film Festival. Bocaina is her first feature film as a director.
