Born in Brazil in 1986. Her films have been presented at film festivals such as Berlin, New York, Toronto, IndieLisboa and Cinéma du Réel. Ana Vaz is also a founding member of the COYOTE collective, an interdisciplinary group working between ecology and political science through conceptual and experimental formats. It’s Night in America is her first feature film.
