Born in the United States, in 1977. He graduated in film studies from Harvard University, became a professor and free-lance writer, and worked as a shop assistant in a bookstore. He made the feature films: "Funny Ha Ha" (2002); "Mutual Appreciation" (2005, 30th Mostra); "Beeswax" (2009); "Computer Chess" (2013); "Results" (2015); and "Support the Girls" (2018); presented at film festivals such as Sundance and South by Southwest.
