He is a Portuguese director, born in Angola. He graduated in film studies from ESTC in Lisbon, as well as in English literature. He made short films such as "The Flesh" (2010), awarded at IndieLisboa; "Versailles" (2013), presented at the Locarno Film Festival; and "Goodnight, Cinderella" (2014) and "Bad Bunny" (2017), premiered in competition at Cannes. He directed the feature films "Serpentarius" (2019), presented at the Forum section at the Berlin Film Festival; and "Name Above Title" (2020).
