Born in Wolfsburg, Germany, in 1970. He graduated in directing at NYU and directed several movies for television, as well as TV series. Amongst his feature films for the theaters, he made: "Gomez" (1998); "Frau2 sucht Happuend" (2002); "Jack" (2014, 38th Mostra), presented at the Berlin Film Festival; and "All My Loving" (2019).
