Born in Lisbon in 1973. He is a screenwriter, filmmaker, producer and professor at Universidade Lusófona. After obtaining a Masters degree in screenplay for film and television at the University of Southern California, he wrote the animated short film A Suspeita (2000). Since then, he has dedicated himself to writing screenplays for cinema and television, and to directing short films and feature films. He co-directed the film Gelo (2016) and the miniseries Soldado Milhões (2018). Nothing Ever Happened represents his solo directing debut in features.
