Born in Italy in 1981. As an actress, she is known for her roles in "The Son’s Room" (2001, 25th Mostra), winner of the Golden Palm at Cannes, by Nanni Moretti; "Fortuna" (2017), by Sergio Castellitto, for which she won the Best Actress Award at Cannes’ Un Certain Regard, and "The Story of My Wife" (2021, 45th Mostra), by Ildikó Enyedi. Her short film "Being My Mom" (2020) was presented in the Orizzonti section of the Venice Film Festival. "Marcel!" is her first feature film.
