Born in Italy in 1981. She is an Italian actress known for her roles in The Son’s Room (2001, 25th Mostra), winner of Golden Palm at Cannes, by Nanni Moretti, Fortuna (2017), by Sergio Castellitto, for which she won the Best Actress Award at Cannes’ Un Certain Regard, and The Story of My Wife (2021, 45th Mostra), by Ildikó Enyedi. Her short film Being My Mom (2020) was presented at Venice Film Festival Orizzonti. Marcel! is her first feature film.
