He is a portuguese filmmaker born in Amadora, 1966. He graduated in painting at Escola Superior de Belas Artes de Lisboa. In 1993 and 1994 he studied the animation of drawings and volumes at Lazzenec-Bretagne, in Rennes, France, and at Filmógrafo, in Porto. He directed the awarded animated short film The Suspect (1999).
