Born in Jalisco, Mexico, in 1984. He has directed the short films "Por Qué el Recuerdo" (2014), presented in the Critics` Week at Cannes; "La Espera" (2016), shown at South by Southwest, and "Las Nubes" (2017), screened at Rotterdam. He has also helmed the documentary "Caballerango" (2018), premiered at IDFA in Amsterdam. "Dos Estaciones" is his first feature film.
