Born in Jalisco, Mexico, in 1984. He has directed the short films Por Qué el Recuerdo (2014), presented in the Semaine de la Critique at Cannes; La Espera (2016), shown at South by Southwest, and Las Nubes (2017), screened at Rotterdam. He has also helmed the documentary Caballerango (2018), premiered at IDFA in Amsterdam. Dos Estaciones is his first feature film.
