Born in Medellín, Colombia in 1981. She graduated from film school in Melbourne, Australia. Whilst there, she directed two award-winning short films: "West" (2004) and "Brotherhood" (2007). In 2012 she co-directed with Carlos Moreno more than 35 episodes of the award-winning TV series "Pablo Escobar, The Drug Lord" (2012). She made the feature films "Antes del Fuego" (2015) and "Killing Jesus" (2017).
