Born in Nazareth in 1970. She graduated from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in English and Arabic literature. She worked as an artistic designer in productions like "The Time That Remains" (2009) by Elia Suleiman, and "The Attack" (2012) by Ziad Douairi. She directed the short films "Oranges" (2009) and "Behind These Walls" (2010). "Personal Affairs" (2016), her first feature filme, was presented in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival and at the 40th Mostra.
