Both were born in Belgium in 1987. Olivia is a director, cinematographer. Gerard-Jan is a filmmaker, lecturer and author. They founded the online film magazine Sabzian and Avila, a film distributor and online video platform for Belgian cinema. They directed the documentaries Because We Are Visual (2010), Rain (2012), Grands Travaux (2016) and Mitten (2019).
