Born in Paris in 1974. Also known as Mr. Oizo, the French director got famous for his work as a producer and artist in electronic music. In 2001 he directed his first film, the medium-length “Non-Film”, and in 2007 he directed his feature film debut with “Steak” (2007, 32nd Mostra). Ever since he has made movies such as “Wrong” (2012), “Wrong Cops” (2013), “Reality” (2014), “Deerskin” (2019), “Mandibules” (2020), “Incredible but True” (2022) and “Smoking Causes Coughing” (2022, 46th Mostra), presented in film festivals like Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Rotterdam, Locarno and Sundance.
