Director, cinematographer, editor, screenwriter and producer, he gained a Bachelor of Mass Media degree from St. Xaviers College, Mumbai and an MFA from the ArtCenter College of Design in Los Angeles. He made short films like Memoirs of an Apple (2006), A Scene with Dialogue? (2013), Gulfareen (2013) and Istifa (2014). The Cloud Messenger is his first feature film.
