Born in 1971 in Besançon, France. In 2008, Ursula Meier directed her first fictional feature film Home, which was selected at the Cannes Semaine de la Critique and won numerous international awards. She also directed Sister (2012), winner of a Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival, a segment in the collective film Bridges of Sarajevo (2014, 38th Mostra), and Diary of My Mind (2018), directed as part of the RTS-Arte TV film series Shock Waves.
