On November 11, 1918, in the middle of a trench, Sergeant Broulard is seriously injured. A telegraph operator returning from the front just had time to catch a message: a peace treaty had been signed that morning. They must launch an attack, but the rumor is spreading and it is up to the troops to make the final decision.
