Leo, a farm labourer who has never left his small village in the south of Brazil, suffers two major losses on the same day: he is fired and he witnesses the death of his father, which makes him feel guilty. When he finds a photo and a letter, Leo realizes he must fulfill his father’s last wish. In order to do that, he travels alongside his uncle Artur to the city of Rio de Janeiro. Throughout the unknown path, Leo bonds with his uncle, with whom he completely disagrees on life and manners, which turns his journey into an adventure filled with discoveries and transformations.
